Sean Thompson aims to use his skills as a communicator to help people and make a difference. He earned a B.A. in Journalism and English from the University of Iowa. He has worked as a journalist, presidential campaign staffer and most recently as public relations coordinator for the UI Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) Center of Excellence. In 2014, he received the Excellence in Family Service Award from the HDSA Iowa Chapter. Sean volunteers helping kids with cancer through UI Dance Marathon, and will run his sixth Chicago Marathon with the organization in 2017.
