Lolli Haws

Role: Area Education Agency

Dr. Lolli Haws is the chief administrator at Green Hills Area Education Agency.

Lolli received a bachelor’s degree in special education and elementary education from Augustana University, and a Master of Education degree in reading from Southern Illinois University. At Saint Louis University, Lolli earned a doctorate in educational administration.

Pursuing her lifelong passion for the joy of teaching and the importance of leadership development, Lolli strives to impact and improve student learning—the driving force behind her 42 years in education. Prior to her role as Green Hills AEA's Chief Administrator, Lolli began her career as a teacher of the deaf in residential, mainstream, and itinerant roles. She then served as an elementary principal over the course of 16 years in St. Louis and Arlington, Va. Lolli was an instructional superintendent in the District of Columbia Public Schools and for the past five years, she was the Superintendent of the Racine Unified School District in Wisconsin. 

Lolli and her husband have three sons and five grandchildren.
