Erin Sale

Role: School District

Erin Sale is the district STEM coach in the Waterloo Community School District, supporting virtual elementary school teachers and all kindergarten teachers with literacy instruction. Previously, she had been a literacy coach, taught first grade for five years, and was a reading interventionist for two years in Waterloo.  

Erin received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006 and a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Viterbo University in 2015. She also earned a Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy Advanced Studies Certificate from the University of Northern Iowa in 2016.  

Erin is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an organization of women educators working to support children, students, teachers and families.

Erin lives in Waterloo with her husband, Daniel, and their daughter, Ellery.
