Dr. Deanna Stoube is a professor of literacy education in the Teacher Education Program at St. Ambrose University.
She received her doctorate from the University of Iowa, where she focused on the emergence and development of preservice teachers' professional belief systems about reading and reading instruction. Deanna is the current director of the St. Ambrose University Clinical Reading Center and assessment coordinator for the Teacher Education Program.
She is a former special and general education elementary teacher in Davenport and Ottumwa. Deanna has published several academic articles and book reviews and has given educational presentations locally, nationally, and internationally.
